Holiness - Some Thoughts

There are three possibilities of holiness: 1. I am holy therefore I am holy. 2. I am holy and I maintain holiness by avoiding sin. 3. I become holy by forsaking sin and avoiding sin. The first one is false: All have sinned The second one is false: All have sinned The third one is the only option left. There are two possibilities to the third one: 1. I cleanse myself of sin and become holy. 2. I am cleansed of my sin by someone or something else. The first one is impossible: The wages of sin is death. But, death is not a medium of cleansing; death is the consequence. Purgatory can’t save. Asceticism (suffering) can’t atone; for nothing short of death is sufficient to take away guilt. The second one is the only option left. There are three possibilities to the second one: 1. My sin is exchanged with someone’s holiness. 2. My sin is exchanged with something’s holiness. 3. My sin is cancelled by arbitrary decision. The third one is impossible; for a debt cancelled only means someone else

I Sought Your Face... (Poem)

I sought Your face in the pages of the Bible, And I found its radiance fill each page; I sought Your face in my deepest meditations, And I found its brilliance thrill my gaze; I seek Your face on my knees this hour, O Lord, I pray, take centerstage!!! "When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek."" (Psa 27:8)

The Fear of Man is A Snare (Prov 29:25)

"The fear of man is a snare, but the one who trusts in the LORD is protected (will be exalted, NASV)." (Prov. 29:25). It might be fear of being misunderstood, fear of being rejected, fear of being ridiculed, fear of being mistreated... whatever, fear is a snare - it traps you in and makes you indecisive, inactive, and ineffective. Fear paralyses a person; but, Faith protects and promotes. FEAR makes you INDECISIVE, INACTIVE, INEFFECTIVE. FEAR PARALYSES A PERSON FAITH PROTECTS and PROMOTES Prayer: Lord, I trust in you and forsake all fear of man that is not pleasing in Your sight, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

4 Kinds of Christian Leaders

Politician Pastor: He's concerned with "How do I RULE the Church?" Businessman Pastor: Concerned with "How do I RUN the Church?" False Pastor: "What does it matter if the Church is RUINED ?" True Shepherd Pastor: Concerned with "How do I REAR (Care for) the Lord's Church, my Family!" "My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you..." (Gal 4:19)

Customer in Control

It is important that you control the transaction and not the seller. Are they controlling your decisions? 1. Ask yourself, "Who is in control?" 2. Ask, "Is it necessary?" 3. Ask "Why are they saying this?" "doing this?"

3 Facts About Temptation

M...L...S 1. Temptation is MOMENTARY. It won't last forever. The devil tries to make it look as the final reality. But, it is not. It is just a test, and it'll be over; but, the question is whether you'll pass it. 2. Temptation is a Test of LOVE; and LOVE is an action. Love fulfills all the commandments. The two greatest are LOVE GOD with all your being and LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself. But, love is not a feeling or emotion; it is an action. We need to LOVE Him more in the moment of temptation; it can only be possible when we focus on Him. 3. Temptation will make you STRONGER and PURER. It may stretch your muscle; but, not beyond your capacity; and then the HELPER, our TRAINER is there with us and knows what will make us stronger... Despite all this, let us never forget to pray: "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one!"
